This Dog Disrupted His Owners’ Sleep In A Middle Of The Night, Trying To Save A Child’s Life.

Homeless dog Duke got to the animal shelter six years ago. After that he was adopted by Brousseau family from Portland, Connecticut. Later Duke got another little owner, newborn Harper. Nine-week-old girl was sleeping in her bed in the room, located next to her parents’ bedroom. Suddenly worried Duke burst into the parents’ room, jumped on their bed and started to awake them.

Duke has always been a quiet dog, so the owners became suspicious and decided to check their daughter. When parents ran into their daughter’s room, they saw her lying lifeless. She stopped breathing during sleep. Harper’s father immediately called an ambulance. The girl was saved with timely SPR done by doctors. It is terrible to imagine what could happen to the little Harper, if Duke did not wake his owners up.
