Thayne Hamilton and his late wife, Christina, rescued more than 40 dogs in the last 12 years. All animals had difficult lifes, they were sick and old. Thayne and Christine founded the Gray Muzzle Rescue & Sanctuary on Orcas Island, Washington, to give older dogs a new life. In 2013 Christine died from an incurable disease. Now her husband continues what they started together.
